  • Trail to First Class Camp - Nov 4-6

    Got new Scouts? Here is an opportunity for them to complete many of the requirements for the ranks of Scout through First Class! Knots – cooking - fire starting - map & compass - plant & animal identification - first aid - food safety - knife & axe safety - water safety - swim requirements – and more!
  • Cutter Summer Camp 2017

    At Cutter we have an excellent summer camp with programs geared for all ages and stages. While at camp, Scouts can work on earning a number of merit badges, as well as swimming in our pool, riding the ATV's, and testing themselves on our awesome COPE course! We have a great First Year "Transitional" program for those new to Scouting.

1-Day Aviation, Weather, Astronomy Merit Badge Programs at Hiller Aviation Museum

Weather merit badgeAviation merit badgeBoy Scouts can complete their requirements for the Aviation or Weather Merit Badge thru special 1-day programs at Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos. Go to www.hiller.orgExternal Link for details. Event is not a council event, please direct any questions to Hiller Aviation Museum.

Participants build and fly model gliders, inspect the Museum's Cessna Cardinal, and complete an air traffic control simulation. Requirements are completed the day of the program.

Participants complete weather experiments including lightning and tornado formation, icing an airplane wing, construction of a working weather station, and much more!

Participants construct working telescopes, complete a range of observations in the Starlab planetarium, use a variety of telescopes to observe the Sun and Moon, lead a public observation session and more!
