  • 2017 National Jamboree, PacSky Contingent, Jul 15-28

    Jamborees are a place to make new friends, experience adrenaline-rushing activities, attend high-energy stadium shows, explore the stunning high-adventure playground called the Summit Bechtel Reserve and to unite with tens of thousands of fellow Scouts and Scouters.
  • Cutter Summer Camp 2017

    At Cutter we have an excellent summer camp with programs geared for all ages and stages. While at camp, Scouts can work on earning a number of merit badges, as well as swimming in our pool, riding the ATV's, and testing themselves on our awesome COPE course! We have a great First Year "Transitional" program for those new to Scouting.

  • Alien Encounters Camp-O-Ree - Oct 7-9

    You've finally beaten back the Zombie Hordes! And just when you thought it was safe to go back into the's Scouts vs. Aliens! Join us for the coolest camp-o-ree of the year and see who will be the last patrol standing. Learn and practice your fire building, first aid, and a host of other wilderness survival skills.
  • Gold Rush (formerly Mountain Man Rendezvous) - Oct 14-16

    Formerly Mountain Man Rendezvous, step back in time to see what it was like when pioneers roamed the frontier. Scouts will learn frontier mountain man skills and do authentic activities including: Archery, Gold Panning, Black Powder Rifle Shooting, Knife and Tomahawk Throwing, Rope Making, Candle Making, using Flint and Steel, Dutch Oven Cooking, Display Rifles, Making Bullets, etc.

1-Day Aviation, Weather, Astronomy Merit Badge Programs at Hiller Aviation Museum

Weather merit badgeAviation merit badgeBoy Scouts can complete their requirements for the Aviation or Weather Merit Badge thru special 1-day programs at Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos. Go to www.hiller.orgExternal Link for details. Event is not a council event, please direct any questions to Hiller Aviation Museum.

Participants build and fly model gliders, inspect the Museum's Cessna Cardinal, and complete an air traffic control simulation. Requirements are completed the day of the program.

Participants complete weather experiments including lightning and tornado formation, icing an airplane wing, construction of a working weather station, and much more!

Participants construct working telescopes, complete a range of observations in the Starlab planetarium, use a variety of telescopes to observe the Sun and Moon, lead a public observation session and more!
