Pan for gold, shoot archery and muzzleloading rifles, start a fire with flint & steel, make candles, rope, and bullets, lasso a steer and cut wood for your cabin! Can you cook in a dutch oven, make jerky and bread? Come learn how!

    Announcing the first ever Pacific Skyline Council Shooting Sports Weekend! The Council Shooting Sports Committee is hosting a weekend packed with shooting sports activities.
  • Oljato Summer Camp 2018

    Here at Camp Oljato we have an excellent summer camp with programs geared for all ages and stages. While at camp, Scouts can work on earning a number of merit badges, as well as WATERSKIING, HORSEBACK RIDING, RAPPELLING, and LOG ROLLING! We have a great First Year "Transitional" program for those new to Boy Scouting.
  • STEM Merit Badge Midway - Dec 2 (Reg starts Oct 9)

    A 1-day event for Scouts to earn STEM*-related Merit Badges and to finish incomplete ones. (*STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

Refund Policy

Pacific Skyline Council’s Refund Policy: Deposits, if applicable for an activity, are non-refundable but transferable. With a written request, full refunds may be given for payments made toward an activity, up to one month prior to the event. After that, refunds are not given except in the case of a valid medical emergency with written documentation.

1-Day Aviation, Weather, Astronomy Merit Badge Programs at Hiller Aviation Museum

Boy Scouts can complete their requirements for the Aviation, Weather, or Astronomy Merit Badge thru special 1-day programs at Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos. Go to www.hiller.orgExternal Link for details. Event is not a council event, please direct any questions to Hiller Aviation Museum.

Aviation merit badgeAVIATION - $45
Participants build and fly model gliders, inspect the Museum's Cessna Cardinal, and complete an air traffic control simulation. Requirements are completed the day of the program.

Times - 9:30am-4:00pm
Dates - (Saturdays unless noted):
2017 - Sep 9, Oct 7, Nov 4, Dec 9

Weather merit badgeWEATHER - $50
Participants complete weather experiments including lightning and tornado formation, icing an airplane wing, construction of a working weather station, and much more!

Astronomy merit badgeASTRONOMY- $55
Participants construct working telescopes, complete a range of observations in the Starlab planetarium, use a variety of telescopes to observe the Sun and Moon, lead a public observation session and more!
