Participants will design, build, and get their hands dirty—working in the garden, making electricity, capturing water, and analyzing the creative design of sustainable homes and communities!

WANTED! Incoming 7-9th grade boys AND girls who want to make an impact on our planet. Youth do not have to be registered Boy Scouts, so bring your friends/siblings!

  • One of the first camps of its kind in the U.S. focusing on sustainable systems and solutions.
  • Program is specifically developed for incoming 7-9th graders.
  • All learning is hands-on in key areas of concern on our changing planet.
  • Plenty of time for traditional camp activities…plus hikes to redwoods and waterfalls.
  • Instructors are experts in their fields.
  • Field Trip to local farms/fish market to experience farm-to-table food chain.

Participants will stay in Barebones platform tents and sleep on Cam-O-Bunk cots.

Limited time opportunity: Registration is open to Scouting families and friends exclusively until July 1, after which time it will be promoted to the broader public.

Price: This Camp has been developed and subsidized by generous sponsors, so the standard Camp price of $500 is being offered this time only for $250. Need-based scholarships are also available.
