Camp Oljato's beautiful waterfront2019 Oljato Summer Camp!
(pronounced ole-JAY-toe)

Camp Oljato is a premier Boy Scout summer camp in the High Sierras. Pacific Skyline Council's program, which runs from mid-June through late July, immerses Scouts in the outdoor adventure of Scouting.

Our Programs include extensive aquatics (sailing, motor boating, paddle boards, water trampoline, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rowing, and life saving), rock climbing, handicraft, welding, nature, Scoutcraft, shooting sports, adult leader training, and a high adventure program. Recent additions are horseback riding, log rolling, waterskiing and wakeboarding!

Transition Program for New Scouts:
Get the scoop on how Boy Scouting works and learn basic skills on your Trail to First Class! The transition program is available during all weeks. You will see it as an option as you sign up for merit badges.

Registering a Girl Troop
Beginning February 1, 2019, the BSA will welcome girls to the program. The Pacific Skyline Council realizes that many groups have already begun the process of forming girl Troops and that there will be interest in attending summer camp in 2019.

To help facilitate that, the Pacific Skyline Council will begin accepting reservations for Camp Oljato by future girl Troops immediately. All fees and payment schedules will remain the same, so groups are encouraged to commit to a reservation with the same discretion as a current Troop would, ensuring required deposits and fees will be covered by committed attendees.

To register your future girl Troop for Camp Oljato, please send an email to Davey Warner with the following information:

- Council of future Troop
- Likely Chartering Organization for future Troop
- Affiliated boy Troop number (if any)
- Week of camp you would like to make a reservation for
- Estimated number of Youth
- Estimated number of Adults

We will then process your reservation in our system and you may begin registering individuals as with any other troops.

Don’t wait until February to register your new Troop and miss the opportunity for a great experience in the High Sierra. We are ready and able to sign up these Troops now and ensure that they get that same great experience so many have come to expect at Camp Oljato.
