Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner


The award is an annual recognition of those who give freely of their time and talents to improve the quality of life on the San Francisco Peninsula. Selection criteria include how our community has benefited from the individual’s contributions and the lasting effects those contributions have on our community. Our past recipients have included Allen Phipps, John Conover, William “Bill” Butler, Joe “Sparky” Bullock, Theresa and Frank Hannig, Ronnie Lott and Harris Barton, Ned Barnholt, Susan Black, Jim Chalmers, Jim Cunneen, Richard Deluna, Don Horsley, Franklin “Pitch” Johnson, Quentin Kopp, Becky Morgan, Peter and Paula Uccelli, Lenore and Frank Verducci and Ted Turner. This year's 2012 honorees were Carol Marshall & Robert Williams.

Proceeds from this event are used to fund our Scoutreach program which is the Pacific Skyline Council’s commitment to making sure that all young people have an opportunity to join Scouting, regardless of their circumstances, neighborhood, or ethnic background.
