How Can YOU Help?

Here are ways you can help make the 2016 Autumn Gala & Auction best yet:

Attend!

Share the "Spirit of Scouting" by bringing your friends and neighbors!

Participate and enjoy a night out and support local Scouting by bidding on some terrific items at our exciting live auction!  This year's prizes include an Astronaut Experience at Cape Canaveral, Florida (including lunch with an astronaut!) and a tour and lunch at the United Airlines Maintenance and Operations Center at San Francisco International Airport!

Or make a bid at our pre-dinner Silent Auction, featuring great food at local restaurants, fantastic gift baskets or any number of other wonderful offerings. Bid on one for yourself or as a gift for a friend or a member of your family!

Donate!

Our auction’s success is largely dependent on donated items and services from our families and community. If you (or someone you know) are able to donate to the auction, please contact Ron Chang! We appreciate your support!

Sponsor!

Scouting is volunteer-RUN and volunteer-FUNDED!  As one of our country’s leading youth education organizations, Scouting can only be successful with the support of the communities that we serve! Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, group, or company, you will be recognized for your generous support.

For more information, please contact Ron Chang at 650 341-5633 x103, or email at ron.chang@scouting.org.

Thank you to everyone who attended our 3rd Annual Autumn Gala & Fundraiser in 2015!
It was a great evening of fun and fellowship, highlighted by a pre-75th anniversary celebration of Camp Oljato -- our Boy Scout camp in the southern Sierras! Oljato is one of the premier Scout camps west of the Rockies and has been welcoming Scouts to the shores of Huntington Lake since 1941!

The evening also featured both a silent and live auction hosted by Frank Bizzarro and Bizzarro Gala Auctions, and guest speaker, John Wilken! John, an Eagle Scout from Troop 33 in Los Altos and a junior at UC Santa Barbara, was named the 2015 NESA World Explorer, and spent this summer as the NESA Eagle Scout Arctic Marine Biologist.  As a member of a research team studying Narwhals in the Arctic, John joined leader Dr. Martin Nweeia of Harvard University and the Smithsonian Institution, Dr. Winston Kuo of Harvard and several Inuit from Baffin Island, Canada on the expedition.
