William Waits earned his Eagle Scout in 1989 in the San Francisco Bay Area Council. He continued serving as a volunteer working with the Youth Leadership Training Programs until 1996 when he accepted his first Executive role with the Mt. Diablo Silverado Council, Boy Scouts of America. During his tenure he had opportunities take leadership roles in Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Exploring, and in-school Learning for Life Programs. His next stop was the Nevada Area Council where he served as a District Director supporting staff and volunteers covering 120,000 square miles of California, Nevada, and Utah. Currently William is honored to have the opportunity to serve as the Program Director for the Pacific Skyline Council supporting the numerous activities and camps that the Council is fortunate enough to be able to provide to local youth at its incredible properties.
