Learning For Life
A partnership with education to provide school-to-work guidance. It is a subsidiary of the Boy Scouts of America, encompassing four curriculum areas that are age appropriate and grade specific which are presented in the classroom. Currently, over 5,000 boys and girls in grades in K through 12 are recipients of the Learning for Life programs in local schools and institutions. Enhancing self esteem and life skills are emphasized in this program, which has no youth application requirements. Learning for Life is constantly seeking new and innovative ways to serve high school youth in our area. We are currently offering to youth on the Peninsula a "Career Awareness" program. This program is in partnership with various high schools in our area. One function of this partnership is to provide speakers to those youth regarding careers. If you would be interested in participating in this Career Speaker Core please contact Michael Partin. Learning for Life School Based Program Information from BSA National
