Uniform: For all scouts, this is a Class A uniform event unless otherwise directed by certain merit badge class counselors in the Pre-Requisites info. they have provided online at www.pacsky.org when registration opens. All scouts should plan on wearing full Class A uniforms and bringing other clothes to change into, or cover up their uniform with, if you have a class where the counselor indicates you may need clothes you can get dirty in or paint on, etc.
Blue Cards: You need one merit badge blue card signed in advance by your scoutmaster or unit leader for EACH class you take and/or appointment you make.
Refunds: There will not be any for any reason. Before signing up for Midway carefully check your schedule for January 31, 2009 for potential conflicts with other activities that day, be they sports teams or otherwise.

Attendance is by advance reservation only. THERE ARE NO WALK-IN REGISTRATIONS!!!
Any troop with over five Scouts attending Midway must have an adult present.
Parking: Carpooling is strongly urged. There will be an area in front of the school to drop off/pick up Scouts and adults, but on site parking will be restricted to Midway instructors, staff and assistants only. There may be some parking at nearby church parking lots but on the street parking is available slightly down the hill on Davis Drive in the Ralston Business Park; otherwise you will have to park in the surrounding residential neighborhood and probably have to walk several blocks to the school.

- Classes:Various Eagle-required and fun merit badges will be offered during morning and/or afternoon sessions, except where noted. Each class has one or more pre-requisites Scout must complete in advance in order to be able to complete the badge during Midway. These must be completed with written proof (Scoutmaster or other adult Scout leader by letter). Some counselors at Midway may want you to bring your completed pre-requisite items to class for them to review. CHECK for details on the badges you are registering for by going to the link to Midway under News and Events at http://www.pacsky.org.

*Due to the rather academic nature of much of the material to be covered in the classes for the Merit Badges with an * next to their badge name above, such classes are generally NOT recommended for Scouts under the age of 14. If a Scout is under 14 but is in the 8th grade and their current school curriculum is covering US History, Citizenship in the Nation is probably still ok for a 13 year old Scout.
These Classes Are Held as All-Day Sessions-You Won’t Be Able to Attend Another Class
Emergency Preparedness First Aid
Fire Safety Classes Held Off Site
Fire Safety will be held at Belmont-San Carlos Fire Dept. Station 14 at Ralston & Granada in Belmont. Scouts will need to arrange for their transport to, and pick up from, these sites.
2. Individual Appointments: This is a chance to complete partial merit badges from camp and/or previous times. An appointment will be set up only if all requirements are completed and the Scout is ready to review them. All appointments must be arranged in advance to have a certified counselor available. The Scout should bring the current merit badge book, all written material and proof of completion. Some requirements may need to be signed off by the Scoutmaster or a letter signed with explanation about the requirement completion. ALL MERIT BADGES WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY by advance signup.
