Eagle Resources

The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest achievement a Scout can achieve.

Equip your Scouts with the knowledge and resources they need to successfully navigate the journey to Eagle Scout. These links and tools help simplify the process—from planning the project to preparing for the Board of Review.

Eagle Scout Rank Requirements

Scouts must earn at least 21 merit badges—promoting personal growth, hobby and career exploration, and life skills—while fulfilling leadership roles and demonstrating outdoor skills. A service project benefiting the community is the capstone of the Eagle journey.

Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook and Eagle Scout Application

It is important to always use the current Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook and Eagle Scout Application. Sometimes the workbook and application in Scoutbook Plus are not updated in a timely manner. Be sure to compare to the current forms before using them. Click the button below for Scouting forms from the National Council of Scouting America.

Eagle Advisor

Each district has an Eagle Advisor who reviews and approves Eagle projects, accepts Eagle applications, and conducts the Eagle Boards of Review for the Life Scouts in their district. Contact your District Executive to learn more.

Eagle Board of Review Information

All requirements must be completed before the Scout's 18th birthday. The Eagle Board of Review  may be conducted after the 18th birthday.

National Eagle Scout Association

NESA (pronounced nee-sah) is an organization of men and women who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Scouting America. NESA’s stated purpose is “to serve Eagle Scouts and, through them, the entire movement of Scouting.” NESA also offers scholarships that can help tomorrow's leaders continue their educational adventure.
