Since 1941, Camp Oljato has shaped generations of Scouts through challenge, friendship, and the magic of the High Sierra. Join us in 2026 for a season of special programs, commemorative patches, and more!

Sail, climb, explore, earn badges, and make friends for life at Camp Oljato. Arrive by boat, depart with stories. Camp Oljato (pronounced ole-JAY-toe) is a premier Scouts BSA summer camp in California's High Sierra. Our diverse program immerses Scouts in the outdoor adventures of Scouting, offering fun and activities for every skill and interest.
