Cub Scout Activities

For Youth in Grades K-5

Cub Scouting activities are designed for Scouting families to get in on the fun, and include exploring the outdoors, building projects, art and science, making friends, and developing a lifelong love of learning and adventure. Council-sponsored activities can enrich your Pack and Den programs to create a robust Scouting experience for Cub Scouts of all ages.

Attend the Pinewood Derby Workshop to get ready for the big race with your Pack! A design station will be available to design your cars, volunteers will help cut out your cars, and an activity station will be available. Get your car ready for the big race!

Council Pinewood Derby

Ready, Set, Race! The Council Pinewood Derby puts the top racers in the council against each other for the top racing prize in the PacSky!

 

Each Pack can submit a minimum of 3 cars to race, up to 10% of their Pack's fastest cars. All cars for entry must be impounded by Pack officials on the Pack's race day and be turned in to the council on the designated registration and check-in days. The cars are not allowed to be kept by the racer and must be impounded to ensure that the car is not modified.

Cub Scouts Learning About Reptiles at Cub ON Family Camping

Cub ON is a great introduction to camping for families new to Scouting. This 2-night weekend family camping event for Cub Scouts and their families includes archery, BB, hiking, crafts, a campfire program, and more. Meals and staffing are provided.

Have a spooky good time at this special event for Lions and Tigers. Join us for a spooktacular evening of Halloween fun around the campfire. We’ll carve pumpkins, have a Halloween parade across the stage, and roast hot dogs and toast s’mores over the fire. As it gets dark, we’ll have a not-so-spooky campfire program.
